You are humble not to mention yourself Cristopolis. This blog was beautifully written and long overdue. The contributions of the artists you mentioned are immeasurable and have been instrumental in fueling the DC music scene. For this we are all grateful. However, The blog is not complete with out the mention of your outstanding achievements as a hip-hop mcee and founder of Thinking Hip-Hop. I have known you for many years and watched you struggle to achieve the success you have now so deservedly earned. It is refreshing to personally know an emcee with your level of ambition and perseverance and to further discover that one as talented as you are can still take the time to recognize others who share your dream. My hat is off to you. Thank you for your gift of rhyme and for introducing the world to your talented counterparts :)
